About the Author
Martin Gilbert is a British historian and author who has written extensively about the Holocaust. He is the author of over 80 books, including The Holocaust: A History of the Jews of Europe During the Second World War and Atlas of the Holocaust.
Gilbert is a Fellow of the British Academy and a member of the Free Download of the British Empire. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Yad Vashem International Book Prize and the Primo Levi Prize.
